TV-less is more

I decided when I moved that I wouldn't transfer my cable over. I haven't watched TV since. I can't believe how little I miss it. The shows I want to watch, I'll watch online and the rest I have happily lived without.

There was a Royal Wedding?? There's a Federal election?

Blissfully ignorant.

And the interesting thing about it is that by removing all that mindless garbage, that anesthetizing, it has cleared space for new creativity. Words have come flooding in! That space has been filled with thought and an awakening.

I've been putting garbage in my mind and garbage in my mouth. No wonder!

The Cleanse has been and continues to be as profound as it was because it came along at a time when I was ready to hear it. I was listening because I wasn't distracted by noisy nonsense.

So without the distraction and the filler and the noise, I start remembering and rediscovering who I am. All of me starts showing up.

And she's got plenty to say.
