I just saw a Toby Keith video at the gym yesterday called 'Crash at my Place' and although I wasn't actually LISTENING to the video, I got the gist. It was so implausible and laughable it made me want to puke. Basically, Heather Locklear stars in the video and it invloves a lot of him touching and caressing her and then she falls asleep and he puts her into his bed and leaves the room. Like we're ACTUALLY supposed to believe that TOBY Keith, Mr I'm-American-and-if-you-don't-like-it-I'm-going-to-shoot-you is some kind of BIG MAN who is such a gentleman that he is going to leave HEATHER LOCKLEAR alone in his bed whilst...what? he crashes on the couch?! puh-lease! This guy is an asshole of penultimate proportion, made rich by being a pig and a red-neck a country which values closed-minded, selfish backwards thinkers. And what really pisses me off is that you know there are women out there SWOONING over him and thinking how great and sexy the video is. 'Aw. That Toby Keith is SUCH a sweet man.' or 'Oh I like that Toby Keith. He doesn't pull any punches.' I wonder if he's going to play it on his 'Hooking up and Hanging out tour...'
blech!
If I had a Hate blog, I would write a letter to him. I'd gladly put a boot in HIS ass, that's for damn sure. And to Heather Locklear, while I'm at it! Is her career THAT far gone that she's gotta star in country music videos know?! Man, oh man. You shoulda stuck with Richie Sambora.
