This quote rocked my world. I’ve been rolling it around in my head for the past few days. I’m someone who’s approval addicted and I really do want to make others happy, but sometimes at my own expense. I’m playing with the idea of genuinely and truly doing what’s in my best interests at all times regardless of what that’s going to mean to others and regardless of whether or not they like it.

And I feel very audacious even CONSIDERING it, like the mere suggestion of pissing others off is so outrageous that never can it be spoken, let alone written down in print!
